Notable Appellate Cases
In 2019, Greg won the landmark case Elliott v. State in the Georgia Supreme Court, where the Court found that Georgia’s DUI laws were unconstitutional. As a result of this case, all breath test refusals and thousands of breath tests have been deemed inadmissible statewide. The Fulton County Daily Report featured a front-page story explaining Elliott and its significance as the most monumental DUI decision in Georgia’s history. (See attached). On January 19, 2022, the Georgia Supreme Court extended this ruling to urine tests, further bolstering our strong defense of DUI charges.
